John McCain Wins Louisiana Caucus

January 23rd, 2008 by Michael Palmer
Today, The Republican Party of Louisiana announced that John McCain won the Louisiana Caucus. This important caucus, coming on the heels of South Carolina, is more evidence of the momentum behind John McCain. This victory is a huge defeat for other candidates who poured many resources into the state and failed to register amongst Republican voters. On to Florida!

From the Road: McCain visits the Union Leader

December 3rd, 2007 by Christian Ferry
All you have to do is look out the window to know primary season has arrived in the Granite State. As the first nor’easter blankets Manchester, John McCain has arrived for a full week of campaigning in the state he won in 2000. It could not have gotten off to a better start. The Straight Talk Express made its first stop of the day at the New Hampshire Union Leader, the largest and most influential paper in the state, which yesterday endorsed John McCain for President in a front page editorial by publisher Joe McQuaid. Mr. McQuaid greeted Senator McCain, handed him a copy of the Sunday newspaper and told the gathered crowd that after looking for the most conservative candidate in the race, it didn't take long to figure out who to endorse.

The tour continues today with a town hall meeting at Goss International Americas, an editorial board meeting, and interview with Hardball, and a live town hall meeting tonight at Southern New Hampshire University, sponsored by MTV and MySpace. Tune in tonight to MTV to watch it live at 7:00 PM EST.
